Welcome to Goulds Dog Services

Hello my name is Darlene Gould, CPDT-KA and the owner of Goulds Dog Services.

I've been around dogs since I was a small child. I work with positive reinforcement only, and to me it's always important that the training is fun for both the dog and the owner - because even basic obedience can be tons of fun!

So in the beginning of 2018 I built a building on my premises for my training and other dog services that I offer.

I currently work at Pets Etc. of Vermont where I have been training and assisting dog classes since 1997.

I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator (CGC) and Canine Fit Dog Insturctor with the AKC and a  member of Association of Professional Dog Training (APDT), a Certified Canine Athlete Specialist (CCAS), a member of International Boarding and Pet Services Association (IBPSA).

I also worked at the Granville Small Animal Hospital for 9 year as the groomer/kennel manager.

I currently own 4 dogs. "Claire" German Shorthair Pointer (my show prospet), "Simone" German Shorthaired Pointer (my show prospet, Rally and Agility dog), a rescued  dog ("Sissy"-a collie mix), and adopted a terrier "Tommy" (for  Rally and Eathdog competitions).
